Mid-Century Modern Remodel

This customer’s stunning mid century modern remodeled home has a unique front window that angles outwards from their living room.  They wanted a shade that would follow the angled lines to accentuate the uniqueness and preserve the floorspace of the alcove.  

Hunter Douglas Duette Architella shades with track-glide were the perfect solution.  They adhered right to the glossy white moulding, working with the slant of the walls.   This innovative system keeps the shades in place, regardless of the tilt.  They operate with a cordless LiteRise system for ease of use.

Along with these Duettes, we also designed and installed sleek roller shades and ripplefold drapery and sheers.  Perfect for the modernized mid century modern aesthetic.  They were thrilled with the result!
